A steady rain arriving this afternoon is the product of our cloudy, windy, and mild morning. Gusty winds from the east were recorded throughout the day, bringing cool erand moist air from the ocean. Observed temperatures this afternoon in the 60s will begin to drop as heavy showers associated with a low pressure system moves through our area. Expect wet weather to linger for our area before drying up tomorrow afternoon, which will help mitigate the slight drought our area has been experiencing.
Through Tonight:
A steady and persistent rain is expected drench our area from tonight until early Wednesday morning. Up to an inch of rainfall is possible through tomorrow morning. Low temperatures will drop into the mid 50s for our area with breezy winds out of the east.
Tomorrow (Wednesday):
Rain is expected to move out of our region during the morning commute and transition to overcast skies for the remainder of the day. Expect temperatures with highs in the mid 60s towards the afternoon. Winds will calm down a bit tomorrow as well.
