Today:
The cold air will linger for one more day before highs become more average for this time of the year. The high will barely hit 40 but high pressure building in will lead to clear and sunny skies all day. Fortunately the winds will be much calmer compared to yesterday, only at 4-7 mph from the southwest. Wind chills will be a few degrees colder than the actual temperature.

Tonight:
Winds will calm and skies remain clear. Temperatures will plummet well below freezing into the low 20’s. Be sure to bundle up if you go out tonight.
Tomorrow (Thursday):
Temperatures warm up quite a bit with highs near 53. Clouds will build in in the afternoon but then clear overnight.
A Look Ahead:
Friday into the weekend will be cool and rainy as a low pressure system moves in. Showers will be generally light and our area should expect only rain. However, this will lead to a rather dreary weekend. Total precipitation totals Friday through Monday around a quarter to half an inch. Highs will be a little warmer with temperatures in the mid 50’s.
