Morning Update: A Dreary Weekend

Today:

Today will be slightly dryer and a good bit warmer compared to Friday. Warm air moving into the region will give us a high of 62. Skies will remain cloudy all day with isolated light showers throughout the day. Chances for rain increase into the evening as widespread showers approach from the south west. Rain in the evening will be moderate to heavy at times. Total rain accumulations around less than a tenth of an inch. Winds will be very light from the south.

Tonight:

Light to moderate showers will continue throughout the night. The low will drop to 50, which is quite pleasant for early December. Total rain accumulations around a quarter of an inch. Winds will calm overnight. Be sure to bring an umbrella if you go out tonight.

 

Tomorrow (Sunday):

Most of the showers will move out by noon but we could still see an isolated light or moderate shower in the late afternoon or evening.  The high will be 62 and the low 42. Winds will blow from the west at 5 mph. Total rain accumulations less then a quarter of an inch. 

 

A Look Ahead:

Monday we’ll see our first rays of sun since Thursday as this stormy weather finally moves out. Next week will start out partly cloudy with highs in the 50s but rain returns Wednesday.
