Today:
A weak cold front will pass through, bringing scattered light showers this afternoon. Today will start out partly cloudy and quickly become cloudy through the morning. Total rain accumulations up to a tenth of an inch are possible. The high will reach 65 before the cold front brings temperatures down. Winds will pick up slightly from the southeast during the frontal passage but will remain light and variable otherwise.
Tonight:
Temperatures drop to the upper 40’s. Most rain will have moved out earlier but a lingering isolated shower cannot be ruled out. Winds will calm and skies will remain cloudy.
Tomorrow (Thursday):
Thursday may be the last time we will see sunshine for a few days. Skies will be mostly sunny by mid afternoon, however it will become increasingly cloudy by sunset and chances for precipitation start to rise in the anticipation of a strong trough that will influence the end of the week’s weather. The high Thursday will be 70 and the low 52 with a light breeze from the east. A isolated shower will be possible late in the day.
A Look Ahead:
The next couple of days will be cloudy cool and rainy. Friday will be the wettest day with rain from sunrise to sunset. Then scattered showers can be expected through Monday. Total rain accumulation will near 2 inches! Although the next couple of days won’t be a pleasant as many hoped for the last week of April, this rain is much needed as we are currently classified as being under a moderate drought by the Climate Prediction Center.
