Today: Potential for scattered rain showers overnight could leave the ground a little wet in places in the morning. Temperatures will be chilly to start, hovering in the high 30s and then rising to around 50 degrees by mid-afternoon. Winds will significantly dampen the warming, starting out at a consistent 10-15 mph in the morning and then gusting over 30 mph in the afternoon. The winds will take away the clouds from the morning, however, so the rest of the day should be sunny.
Tonight: With the wind picking up, it will feel quite cold this evening. Wind chill could potentially be 24 degrees before 10 p.m. The temperature without the wind will be in the high 30s, and skies should continue to be clear overnight with the high pressure moving into our area.
Tomorrow: An extremely cold start tomorrow morning, with wind chills potentially in the mid teens. Winds will consistently remain near 20 mph throughout the day, leaving the high temperature right around 50 degrees again. Skies should again be sunny tomorrow, with dry and cold conditions continuing into tomorrow night. This will close the windier part of the week, as winds will die down overnight on Wednesday.
A Look Ahead: Thursday will look much the same as Tuesday and Wednesday, just with less wind as high pressure remains in our area. The high will be near 53 degrees and the low will be around 30 degrees. Friday will bring our first real chance of rain this week, as it looks as though we may have some showers passing through on Friday afternoon and evening, potentially carrying into Saturday morning. The highs will be in the 40s and lows in the high 20s for both Friday and Saturday. Saturday will have at least a chance of rain for the majority of the morning and early afternoon. Sunday will bring more dry and cold conditions before another precipitation system comes in on Sunday night.
