Today continued what has been a nice streak of pleasant weather in College Park. Although a little chilly and there is a slight breeze, weather was relatively seasonable this afternoon as we climbed in the lower 40’s. Tomorrow will continue this theme, while being warmer.
Through Tonight:
Plans this evening should be accompanied by a coat as temperatures will dip into the upper twenties. Clouds should clear out after midnight, so there is very little threat of any precipitation. It may be breezy, with west winds anywhere between 10-20 mph, gusting to near 25 mph.
Tomorrow (Thursday):
Tomorrow will be very similar to today, with partly cloudy skies and a light but noticeable breeze from the west. Temperatures should be warmer though, climbing as high 50 degrees before the day is done. There is a very slight chance for a passing shower throughout the day, but it should not have any impact on plans or travel.
A Look Ahead:
Fellow Terps can expect much of the same to close out the week, as high pressure will build in, keeping any potent storms at bay. The pattern may change as we head into spring break, with another chance at a major nor’easter. Maybe our fortune will be different next time!
