Morning Update: The Miserable Weather Continues

Today:

Another wet, cloudy, and much cooler than average day today. Skies will be completely cloudy all day with scattered light showers throughout the day as a trough axis sweeps through the region. The high will only be around 55 with a bitter breeze from the northwest blowing 10-12 mph gusting up to 20 mph. Total rain accumulations around a tenth of an inch.

Tonight:

Showers move out just after sunset. Skies will become partly cloudy and winds will drop to around 5 mph from the northwest. Lows will be in the lower 40’s.

Tomorrow (Thursday):

Sunshine will finally be back Thursday, but temperatures still way cooler than they should be this time of year. Partly cloudy skies all day long. The high will be 63 and the low 41 with a 8-10 mph breeze in the afternoon. No precipitation is expected.

A Look Ahead:

Skies will stay clear as temperatures gradually start to rise towards the end of this week with highs in the low 70’s by the weekend. Next week temperatures rise into the upper 70’s but showers are possible nearly everyday next week.
