Morning Update: A Cooler Friday

Today:

Unfortunately, our first spring-like day of the year was just a fluke and warm weather is not on the horizon here in college park. Today, temperatures will drop due to a cold front moving through the area, creating a high of 53 degrees. High pressure will also be coming with this front and winds will be 10-20 mph NW.

Tonight:

Tonight temperatures will reach a low of 29 degrees. Winds will also die down, and clouds will move into the area, getting progressively more cloudy throughout the night.

Tomorrow (Saturday):

February may almost be over, but winter is not done yet in college park. Tomorrow there is a chance of snow! After 1 pm this snow will turn to rain/snow, until around 4 pm when it will turn to just rain. There will be a high of 44 degrees and a low of 32 degrees.

A Look Ahead:

After the freezing temperatures on Saturday, the rest of the week is looking to be a bit more mild in temperature, with highs in the 40s and 50s. It is also looking to be rainy later in the week.
