Morning Update: Cold Front Storms, Then Silence

Today:

Get ready for the first real taste of fall. After thunderstorms triggered by the passing cold front end around noon, clouds continue to dominate the sky as the daily high around 70 degrees registers in the late afternoon.

Tonight:

Cloud cover continues to decrease as temperatures drop lower 60s, reaching the mid-50s overnight. Winds begin to pick up from the mild breezes earlier in the day, with sustained winds peaking around 11 mph after the sun has set.

Tomorrow (Friday):

The sunny weather predicted for the weekend begins on Friday, with clear skies all day, low humidity and highs in the lower-70s as a high-pressure system settles in the wake of the cold front. Going outside is highly recommended, if not just straight up required with the quality of weather expected.

A Look Ahead:

The weather remains quiet until Wednesday, when another passing cold front (this one from the north) is expected to trigger some more storms. Until then, however, enjoy the fall weather as best you can!
