Today:
Sunday will be a gloomy start to the week as the remnants of Tropical Storm Delta move through the region. Rain will begin in the early morning and continue through the day. A persistent cover of clouds will add to the gloomy atmosphere, making today an excellent day to stay inside. The afternoon temperature will peak in the low 70s.
Tonight:
As Delta’s remnants keep moving through the region, the rain will steadily get heavier in the evening. The estimated rainfall is 2-3 inches with low temperatures bottoming out in the low 60s. The cloud cover will continue through Monday morning.
Tomorrow (Monday):
On Columbus Day, the last vestiges of Delta will finally move out of the region. A cold front will move in from the west, bringing the possibility of more precipitation with it. Any rainfall will stop by Monday night, finally giving us a chance to dry out. Temperatures will be in the upper 60s to low 70s.
A Look Ahead:
The rest of the week will remain dry until another cold front moves through on Friday morning. After this, temperatures will drop into the 50s and 60s for the weekend. Depending on the cloud cover, next weekend will be an excellent time to go stargazing.
