We put away the winter coats and brought out the light jackets today while the sun was out for a majority of the morning and afternoon, allowing temperatures to reach the mid 50s. However, clouds are moving in and we may see some rain this evening and it will be well worth it tomorrow when we can break out the shorts to celebrate near 65 degree temperatures.
Through Tonight:
Late evening plans may require an umbrella, as the high clouds from today build into some scattered showers after 9pm. Temperatures should only dip slightly overnight into the upper 40s with a 5-8 mph wind from the southwest. Once the showers move through, expect a dry and relatively calm night.
Tomorrow (Thursday):
The anticipated warm up is here. Consider breaking out the spring attire, as temperatures will quickly build into the lower to mid 60s by noon. Clouds will be abundant and there is a chance for a passing shower in the early afternoon, but it should not be anything significant enough to alter plans. Winds should be relatively light out of the southwest, ushering in our warm and humid day. Clouds should clear out by evening, giving way to what could be a picturesque sunset.
Looking Ahead:
Do not let Thursday’s spring like conditions fool you, for winter is going to make a return this weekend. Details are still be figured out, but there is building confidence in wintry precipitation overnight Saturday. Stay Alert!
