If you had the chance, today was the perfect day to spend time outside before cramming for final projects and exams. Our daytime high was around 75 with a western wind blowing between 8 – 13 mph with 25 mph gusts. White fluffy clouds helped to shade the warmer spots around campus. This is the first “spring-like” day we have had in awhile after heating up into the 80s and even 90s this past week.
Through Tonight: Tonight will be a bit chilly but a cozy sweatshirt should suffice. The low temperature will dip down to around 55 with upper 40s and low 50s in the northern counties. Scattered clouds will stick around for the night but we will be dry. The winds will die down a bit between 5 and 10 mph coming out of the West.
Tomorrow (Wednesday): We will have another gorgeous day here in the DMV. The sun will be shining bright but temperatures will be about 10 degrees cooler in the mid-to-upper 60s. The wind will ramp back up between 12-18 mph with gusts as high as 25 mph coming out of the West. Leave the umbrellas at home because no rain is in the forecast!
