Discussion:
While high pressure is currently sitting in our area, a strong cold front is expected to pass through our area Thursday night into Friday, bringing with it our next dose of rain.

Pictured above in the pink box is the strong cold front making its way into our area Thursday evening.
The passage of cold fronts brings colder air into the region, meaning that Friday temperatures will cool down once the cold front moves out. This can be seen in the temperature map below, with the noticeable boundary between colder and warmer air.

The rough location of the cold front trekking through the area is indicated by the dark blue line.
That’s all for today. Have a great day, Terps and good luck with finals!
