Today:
One of the hottest days of the year so far. Temperatures will rise rapidly today, reaching 80 by noon. The high could hit 90. A pleasant breeze from the south will blow 6-8 mph in the afternoon. Thankfully humidity will be low, so heat indexes and temperatures will be the same. The day will start clear and become partly cloudy by late afternoon. It’s going to be a beautiful day to be outside!
Tonight:
Skies will be come mostly cloudy overnight, lows will drop into the low 60’s and winds will be light and variable. No chance for rain tonight.
Tomorrow (Saturday):
Cloudy skies all day with the exception of maybe a little blue sky in the morning. The high will be 75 and the low will be 45. A cold front bringing a line of heavy showers will approach the area Saturday afternoon. Rain will start mid afternoon and continue into the evening. Expect rain to be heavy at times, especially during the evening hours. Winds from the south will also pickup during the passing of the front, blowing around 12 mph and gusting over 20 mph. Total rain accumulations will be around an inch.

A look ahead:
Clear skies and cooler temperatures in the wake of the cold front that will come through Saturday evening. Highs next week much cooler with temperatures in the low to mid 60s all week long. Next week will end with showers and at least another inch of rain.
