Today:
Today will likely be the hottest day of the year yet. Temperatures will start in the mid 60s and rapidly climb throughout the morning and early afternoon. The high will be in the upper 80’s and may even hit 90 in some areas. There likely won’t be a cloud in sky all day. A pleasant breeze from the southwest will blow at 6-8 mph. Recent dry conditions, very low humidity and heat put the area at an elevated risk for wildfires in the greater Maryland area.
