Morning Update: Sunny and blissful stretch of fall weather ahead

Today: The last few days have been quite the shock to the system with chill, but we finally begin to see temperatures climb today. The cold Canadian high pressure that has been feeding this chill starts to relax and highs should reach the lower 60s with delightful sunny skies. Winds should be quite light, coming from the southwest around 5-10 mph. Truly one of the nicest fall days so far this season.

Tonight: Clear skies persist, which allows for temps to drop quite a bit again. Lows dip into the 30s with more frost advisories expected. Definitely dress warm if out at any point. Winds should still be light and variable. Good night for hot chocolate and warm blankets.

Tomorrow: It gets even better. The cold airmass continues to weaken over our area and temps climb further into the mid 60s. Sunny skies remain while winds stay very light from the south. A day to really enjoy outdoors if you can.

A look ahead: Saturday continues the pattern of exceptionally nice weather with more 60s for highs and 40s for lows, along with sunny skies. The forecast becomes a tad more complicated Sunday as a coastal system could throw some showers in our direction, or there’s a chance it could miss us and we remain dry. Regardless, temperatures should be nice in the 60s. Early next week should resume the beautiful fall pattern with some 70s even expected for highs. Enjoy!
