Today:
Hey Terps, hope you didn’t get too cold this week because the forecast shows that it’s only going to get colder. Please be cautious walking to class this morning because there is a freeze warning in effect from 2 to 9 am. Today, temperatures are going to be in the low 50s with a high of around 54 with winds coming out of the north at 5 to 7 mph. Cloud cover will be minimal which means that the chance of precipitation is extremely unlikely.
Tonight:
It’s going to be cold tonight so if you’re going out please bring layers! The low is around 30 degrees but winds will be light and variable, so there’s no wind chill to worry about. Cloud cover is going to increase slightly to around 20% so it will be fairly clear if you’re planning on going to the homecoming fireworks show.
Tomorrow (Saturday):
Tomorrow is going to be slightly warmer than today with a high of around 55 degrees and northeast winds of 5 mph. Cloud cover will continue to increase through the night so it’s going to be partly cloudy for the football game.
Tomorrow Night (Saturday):
Tomorrow night is going to closely resemble tonight with highs around 33 degrees with light winds. Cloud cover is expected to stay constant throughout the night at around 40%.
A Look Ahead:
As we go into next week, a low pressure system moving south will cause northern winds to be brought to campus. However, no rain is expected to come from this pressure system and a warming trend is actually likely for the beginning of the week. It will not last too long as a cold front is going to come right behind it bringing back our cold temperatures.
