Thanksgiving break has wrapped up and the weather pattern will largely remain the same tomorrow with more rain. Temperatures today were finally much warmer than the cold air that has been around since the middle of last week. High temperatures peaked in the mid to upper 50s with mostly sunny skies for a beautiful autumn Sunday.
Tonight:
Temperatures will drop overnight into the low 40s as clouds begin to increase ahead of a cold front. There is a 30% chance of rain after midnight. Winds will be out of the southeast around 5 mph.
Tomorrow (Monday):
Clouds and rain showers will be around throughout the day as temperatures rise into the low to mid 50s. Winds will shift from the southeast to the west at 5 to 10 mph as the cold front passes through the area. The chance of rain is 70% and up to 0.25 inches can be expected.
Tomorrow Night:
Skies will clear and temperatures will drop rapidly into the mid 30s overnight. There will be a west wind at 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. This will cause wind chills to be in the upper 20s most of tomorrow night.
A Look Ahead:
The remainder of the week will feature more below average temperatures as highs may not even get out of the 30s Wednesday. A warm-up may be in store for the end of the week into next weekend ahead of another storm system. Early hints for December point to more frequent storms to continue the wet pattern of 2018.
