EVENING UPDATE: WHERE IS FALL?

Today was an absolute gem. Skies were clear, temps were in the mid 70s, and the humidity was relatively low. The temperatures were above average for this time of year though. For those of you who would have liked summer to stick around a little longer, you have been very fortunate. On the other hand, if you are like me and love cool, crisp autumn weather, you may have to wait a little longer as temps will stay in the 80s for the remainder of the week.

Through Tonight:

Days are starting to become much shorter as we are well into October with tonight’s sunset clocking in at 6:47pm. Skies will stay clear for the rest of the day and will continue to be clear throughout the night. A light southerly wind will persist through the night while overnight temps will drop down into the mid 50s.

Tomorrow (Thursday):

Waking up tomorrow, skies will be partly cloudy and clouds will continue to increase as the day moves on. Temperatures will be slightly warmer than today, climbing into the lower 80s. These temperatures can be attributed to the light winds that will still be coming out of the south/southwest. Overall, another warm day is in the forecast. Although the remainder of the week seems to be clear, some rain is in the forecast for the beginning of next week, which is something to keep an eye on.
