Evening Update: DMV Continues to Remain Parched for the Next Few Days

Clear with chance of clouds at night, clear with chance of clouds during the day, repeat. This is how our weather, or lack thereof, has been for the past few weeks. Today is the 20th day in a row that we have been rain-less, and tomorrow will add to our streak. Aside from the humidity, it is hard to complain about sunny skies and pleasant weather!

Amazingly enough, the area continues to be drought free after an abnormally wet August. (via Drought.gov)

Through Tonight:

A high parked to our northeast will dictate our conditions tonight as we will see mostly clear skies tonight. A majority of the area should hit the low 50s tonight, with a chance of patchy fog, particularly for locales near water. Light easterly winds will accompany us throughout the night as well.

Tomorrow (Wednesday):

If you guessed similar weather to today, you’re probably correct. This time, highs will be warmer as temperatures will climb well into the upper 70s. 80 will not be out of the question as we transition from potential fog at night to clear skies during the day with light winds out of the south.
