The wonderful spring weather is here to stay for a few days, as the mid-70s temperatures we’ve experienced so far continue into the weekend and early next week. Moderate temperatures and mild winds seem to be the theme of the next few days.
Through Tonight: As the sun sets, temperatures fall down to around 60 at sunset, and continue to drop to around 50 at the coldest point of the night. Winds remain mild, rarely reaching over 5 mph from the east. Clouds begin to accumulate, as a warm front approaches the area.
Through the Weekend: Saturday is slightly cooler than Friday, reaching up to around 70 later in the day. Overcast skies from an incoming warm front prevent too much heating. Winds will begin to pick up, averaging just over 5 mph from the south. A slight chance of precipitation through Saturday night, as the heaviest clouds from the front move through. Mild winds continue throughout the night. On Sunday the warm front comes through, with temperatures reaching into the middle or upper 80s, with winds reaching into the low or middle teens from the southwest. Partly cloudy skies throughout Sunday, and the potential for localized precipitation from the remainders of the warm front.
