Significant snowfall accumulation missed us here in College Park this morning, so we apologize to all the snow lovers for a lackluster event. Record-breaking temperatures climbing into the 70s (Yes, in February) the past two days stopped any earlier snow from sticking. Meanwhile, locales in north Jersey and New England are receiving over a foot of snow.
Through Tonight:
We won’t rule out a snow shower or two as blustery winds persist throughout the night. After midnight or so, gusty winds should die down a bit. Although skies will be mostly clear, temperatures will plummet into the low 20s/teens tonight, reminding us that it is still winter. Far from the 7os we were experiencing on Wednesday!
Tomorrow (Friday):
Our weather improves tomorrow, but not by much as we only reach the upper 30s. We should start off with sunny skies, but expect clouds to build throughout the day. 7-10 mph westerly winds will accompany us during the day as well.
