EVENING UPDATE: RAIN TO END A PLEASANT WEEK

It has been beautiful in the College Park area over the past few days. With some comfortable highs, who could ask for better weather in the middle of January? Unfortunately, the end of the week will not be as pleasant as it has been. A low pressure system over the Mississippi region will move north towards the Great Lakes and bring some rain into our area. Make sure to get those rain boots and umbrellas ready!

Through Tonight:

No surprises here! Skies will remain partly cloudy throughout the rest of the night. The overnight low will find its way down into the mid 30s, with winds light and variable.

Tomorrow (Friday):

Following a calm night, rain will move into the area between 8 am to 10 am and will continue throughout the morning and afternoon. The showers will end by late afternoon, leaving behind cloudy skies to end the day. Highs will be in the upper 40s and will drop to the lower 40s through the night. Winds will be light throughout the day, coming out of the Southeast.

Rain from the approaching warm front well into our area by 1 pm tomorrow (Via Tropical Tidbits)
