Morning Update: A Gusty Start to the Weekend

Today:

A powerful mid latitude cyclone passes through today and winds will ramp up early. A northwest wind will persist all day at 15-20 mph gusting up to 45 mph.  Skies will clear gradually throughout the day. The high will reach the low 50s, however wind chills will make it feel moderately colder. Wind chills will be in the low to mid 40’s. All rain will have moved out well before sunrise.

Tonight: 

Winds will slowly calm overnight and skies will remain clear. The low will be 33.

 

Tomorrow (Sunday):

Winds will be much calmer than Saturday, about 10 mph from the northwest. Temperatures will also rise slightly, the high will hit 60 and the low 33. Dry conditions with mostly clear skies all day. 

 

A look ahead:

The first four days of the week will be pleasant, highs in 50s and 60s with mostly sunny skies. However towards the end of the week expect rain and cooler temperatures Friday into the weekend.
