Today: A low pressure disturbance will move through our area this afternoon. Temperatures will remain around the same as they were yesterday, with a high in the upper 50s and a low in the lower 40s. However, this disturbance brings the potentials for some rain showers, and the afternoon will see some general cloudiness no matter what. The chance for precipitation is not high, but is still present, and winds should remain consistently between 5 and 10 mph.
Tonight: Mild temperatures and potential for rain will continue into tonight. Temperatures should not drop below 40, and the chance for rain will not be until late night or early morning. Winds will calm down overnight.
Tomorrow: A windy day is in the forecast for tomorrow. After winds die down overnight tonight, they will pick up even stronger tomorrow, with potential for gusts up to 35-40 mph. Temperatures will continue on their warming path from over the weekend, with a high in the mid 60s. As skies clear in the afternoon with the wind pushing this low pressure system away, temperatures will cool again overnight into Wednesday, with a low near freezing.
A Look Ahead: A warm front carrying moist air to our south will move into our area on Wednesday. This will bring near record high temperatures for our area, with most forecasts showing a high of around 80 on Thursday. Wednesday, however, will be a little chillier than the earlier days in the week, with temperatures remaining in the 40s for most of the day, and a good chance for rain in the morning and early afternoon. After Thursday’s anomaly, temperatures will drop back down into the 40s on Friday, leaving the potential for a snow or wintry mix combination on Saturday in the morning.
