Today: The skies should be clear all day today, similar to yesterday. Also, similar to yesterday, there will be a gusty wind around, although not nearly as strong as yesterday. However, it will be warmer today than yesterday, with a chilly start below freezing after dawn until about 9 am, then a high of around 50 later in the day. So bundle up to start the day, but the rest of the day should hold a more comfortable temperature, albeit with some wind.
Tonight: Cold, rainy weather is expected, but not until the early morning hours. For the evening and night hours until around midnight or 1 am, the skies should remain clear with some wind as during the day. It will not get nearly as cold tonight as last night, with a low of around 40 degrees.
Tomorrow (Saturday): It should be raining throughout the morning, with temperatures starting out in the mid 40s. Clear skies should prevail around noon or early afternoon, with the breeze picking up later in the day, gusting around 30 mph. The high for Saturday is above average, around 63, which we should reach by the early afternoon. This quick low pressure system should pass overnight Saturday, with high pressure bringing clearer skies and chillier temperatures moving into Sunday.
A Look Ahead: Competing pressure systems in the upper atmosphere will lead to unstable and inconsistent weather this week, with lower temperatures expected Sunday, but higher temperatures and precipitation chances expected Monday and Tuesday, and then back to colder temperatures and clearer skies Wednesday and Thursday. The highest chances for rain in the upcoming week will be on Monday or Tuesday.
