Today:
As of early this morning the remnants of Hurricane Nicole have moved out of our area, having been pushed out by a strong cold front. This cold front will became stationary over us and linger all day Saturday, leading to mostly clear skies. The high will reach 67 with a steady 9-12 mph wind from the northwest with gusts greater than 20 mph. No precipitation is expected Saturday during the day but the ground may still be damp from the seven tenths of an inch of rain we received yesterday.

Tonight:
Cloud coverage will increase during the overnight hours, as does the chance of rain as a secondary cold front passes through. Chance of light rain is 50% with the highest probability of rain occurring between 8 pm and 12 am Saturday night. The low will be 42 with winds continuing to blow in from the northwest at 8-10 mph, gusting to 20 mph.
Tomorrow (Sunday):
As the cold fronts move out, they leave us with much colder air. The high Sunday will be 50 and the low will be 31, which would be our first freeze of the year if it verifies. Skies will be clear all day long with a northwest wind picking up to 10-15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph.
A Look Ahead:
The beginning of next week will be similar to Sunday with highs in the upper 40s and lows around freezing. Tuesday a shortwave trough will pass through the region, bringing rain to College Park and wintry precipitation to areas north and west. Although the chance for a few flakes Tuesday is unlikely, it can’t be ruled out.
