Yesterday:
My feet almost went numb from shock alone while taking out the recycling last night. It didn’t help that I was wearing too-small-for-me flip-flops, but still, 39 degrees? The record low for April 22 measured at DCA was 30 degrees F in 1875; so while we won’t get to record a record (why does English work like this?), it was still really cold for this time of year.
Today:
It will not be as cold today; high temperatures will skip right past the fifties and move on up to around 64 degrees before dropping off to a low of 40 degrees tonight. This mostly sunny day will add to the warmth before clouds take over the skies in the evening.
Tomorrow (Saturday):
Clouds will build up throughout the day, eventually leading to rain in the evening, with around 0.75 inches expected. Highs will be in the mid sixties, and the low will be around fifty degrees.
A Look Ahead:
Monday: 68 degrees. Tuesday: 79 degrees. Wednesday: 86 degrees. No more frozen feet.
