Morning Update: It’s Heckin Wimdy!

Today:

Today’s gonna be another windy one! The day will start off with a light breeze from the southeast, strengthening to nearly 15 mph by midday, with gusts up to 23 mph. Paired with perfectly sunny skies and a high of 69 degrees F, today should be a nice spring day!  And make sure you wear sunscreen if you do spend time outside — don’t be like me, who got sunburned two days in a row last week while taking a break from Zoom lectures…

Tonight:

Expect some clouds to come in overnight as rain moves towards us from the west. The low will be 53 degrees, with winds from the south at about 6 to 8 mph.

Tomorrow (Wednesday):

While tomorrow should be relatively warm with a high of 65 degrees, don’t expect it to be as bright and sunny as today! The rain rolling across the country will hit us tomorrow, giving us a 100% chance of precipitation throughout the day and about half an inch to three quarters of an inch of rain.

Tomorrow Night:

The rain should continue through tomorrow night, with about an 80% chance of precipitation. The low will get down to 40 degrees, and the wind could gust as high as 24 mph.

A Look Ahead:

After some more rain on Thursday, the skies should be nice and clear this weekend. A cold front will pass over us on Friday, making it a bit colder, but by the end of the weekend it should be sunny and warm again!
