Morning Update: On and Off Snow!

Today:

One of the many benefits of being at home is not having to commute through the snow. This morning we have freezing temperatures of 32 F at 9 a.m. with snow lasting until noon for a total of about 3 inches accumulated since last night. Winds averaging 6 mph will persist into the afternoon.

Tonight:

By the evening, we will see precipitation start to pick back up with snow lasting into the night. Temperatures will reach a low of 24 F.

Tomorrow (Friday):

On Friday we can expect snow continuing from Thursday night with a mix of freezing rain until noon. Temperatures will be in the mid to high 20s throughout the day with winds around 6 mph. By the night, we can expect snow again, though at most 1 inch in accumulation

A Look Ahead:

Going into the weekend, on Saturday we can expect temperatures in the high 20s, low 30s with a combination of both snow throughout the day and freezing rain in the early morning and evening. On Sunday, we can expect more freezing rain over the area with temperatures in the low 30s.
