Morning Update: Cold Weather? That’s Snow Problem!

Today: Today will be partly sunny with a chance of rain in the afternoon. Temperatures will be in the upper 30s with a high of 40F. Light winds can be expected with speeds ranging from 1 to 3 mph.

Tonight: Grab a snow jacket and some hot chocolate tonight! Snow is possible to accumulate 1 to 3 inches starting after 7 p.m. The chance of precipitation is 80%. Be careful when traveling because when precipitation begins expect rain or a sleet mix. Winds will begin to pick up to speeds reaching 5 mph.

Tomorrow (Thursday): On Thursday, expect snow to continue into the morning with accumulations of 1 to 2 inches. Expect overcast skies and cold temperatures. The high will be 32F.

As a look ahead: For the rest of the week, there is the possibility for more precipitation. Temperatures will dip into the teens this weekend as the system from the polar regions comes over the area.
