MORNING UPDATE: WINTER RETURNS

Today:

Despite a high of 51 degrees F Wednesday, much colder air returns today. The high temperature will only reach 39 degrees F, under mostly cloudy skies. There will be a north wind around 5 mph and there’s even a 20% chance of a few snow showers late afternoon.

Tonight:

You’ll need to bundle up if heading outdoors after sunset, as temperatures quickly drop below freezing to a low of 23 degrees F. A north wind at 5-10 mph will make temperatures feel like as cold as 15 degrees F! There’s a 20% chance of snow showers throughout the evening.

Tomorrow (Friday):

Sunny skies return Friday, but it will still be cold. The high temperature will be nearly the same as Thursday’s, with a high of 39 degrees F. A north wind at 5-10 mph will persist throughout the day.

A Look Ahead:

The weekend will bring the return of milder temperatures, with highs both Saturday and Sunday reaching the low to mid 50s. It will be a great weekend to get outdoors as there will be plentiful sunshine.
