Today:
Sunday will replace Saturday’s mostly clear skies with a persistent layer of clouds. Temperatures will climb to an afternoon high of 50 degrees F with calm winds coming out of the south. The skies will remain dry throughout the day, giving a much needed break after last week’s constant rain.
Tonight:
The dry, cloudy skies will continue into Sunday night. The wind will remain calm but will begin to come out of the north. If you’re out at night, make sure to take a look at the waning gibbous moon if you can find a patch of clear skies. However, make sure to bundle up as the nightly temperatures will reach a low in the mid 30s.
Tomorrow (Monday):
The weather on President’s Day will be nearly identical to Sunday but with fewer clouds. High temperatures will be near 50 degrees with winds coming out of the north at 5 mph. In the evening, temperatures will drop to a low of 38 degrees. There will be a small chance of precipitation Monday night as a weak cold front moves through the region.
A Look Ahead:
The chance of light showers will continue into Tuesday afternoon. However, the rest of the week will remain dry. Temperatures will become more seasonal with high temperatures in the upper 30s and low 40s for the remainder of the week. Nightly lows will be in the mid 20s, so make sure to stay warm!
