Morning Update: Record High Temperatures Today

Today:

October 2nd has a record high temperature of 89 degrees Fahrenheit. If the forecast holds, that record will be shattered as temperatures drive up into the mid-90s. Light cloud cover and 5-10mph winds from the west will make this October afternoon feel more like a July afternoon.

Tonight:

Tonight will be very similar to yesterday night, with temperatures in the low 70s for most of the night. Moderate cloud cover and light winds will persist throughout the night.

Tomorrow:

Thursday will be much cooler than today, with temperatures in the mid and upper 70s. Mostly cloudy skies will prevent the temperature from rising too much. Winds will be in the 5mph range from the east.

Looking Ahead:

The weekend will be slightly cooler than what we’ve been used to, with temperatures rarely getting above 70 degrees. Cloud cover will begin to pick up on Sunday, bringing with it light rain from Monday to Wednesday.
