Morning Update: The sky found out the score of the PennSt game…

Today:

Unfortunately, the news has reached the troposphere and it is preparing to let some tears out. After a cloudy morning, we are looking towards a wet day. A disturbance will be passing over in the late morning / early afternoon, and with it, a moderate amount of rain will fall through early noon. Skies should clear up a bit by dinner time if you are trying to go out and get a nice meal after the long weekend.

Tonight:

After the wet day, moist, cool air will be staying the night. Temperatures should stay in the mid to high-60s. Clouds will dissipate throughout the night preparing for the clear skies of Tuesday. Although the clouds are leaving, they will stick around long enough to contain the heat overnight.

Tomorrow (Tuesday):

A warm, wet morning is expected on Tuesday, but this moisture should be gone by noon. With clear skies, temperatures will be heating up again. Temperatures should peak around 85. Hopefully, this heat will start to be lost while fall starts to kick into full swing.

A Look Ahead:

One week into fall and there is no sign of the summer stopping. As we look ahead this week, and into October, we should see temperatures start to drop., and leaves should begin to fully change color. As you walk around campus, you can already see small piles of leaves starting to pile up along the mall. These next few weeks should be welcoming autumn with open arms. Summer can’t last forever, or can it? It can’t.
