Evening Update: Cherry blossom weekend!

It is that time of the year. The weather is getting warmer and the cherry blossoms are reaching their peak. As the National Park Service defined, the cherry blossom in Washington D.C. has reached the “puffy white” stage and they are only 4-5 days to the peak bloom. However, we still need to look out for weather that may affect the cherry blossom viewing experience.

Tonight:

The temperature tonight will be quite nice, dropping from the 70s to 60s. We will have a very gentle breeze in both D.C. and College Paek around 10 mph, so do not worry about the flowers. There will still be some clouds in the sky.

Tomorrow:

There is a good chance of light showers at the beginning of the day before noon. The rain will not be detrimental to the blossoms, but it might affect your blossom viewing experience. The temperature will drop all the way to the 50s at the end of the day.
