Happy Sunday Terps! There are only two more school days until a much deserved break for Thanksgiving, and we should experience nice seasonal weather during this time. You can expect mostly dry conditions with only a small threat for precipitation Monday evening as a developing low pressure system will pass near our area. Temperatures should reach the 50s until Thanksgiving when a cold air mass causes temperatures to plummet. Fortunately, the dry air associated with this will prevent any chance for precipitation on Thanksgiving Day!
Tonight:
Cloud cover will build up late in the night as temperatures will remain in the lower 40s with gentle winds.
Tomorrow (Monday):
We’ll start the week with nice seasonal weather as temperatures elevate up into the mid-50s with partly cloudy skies. There is also a slight chance for showers in the evening. Winds will remain gentle throughout the day.
Tomorrow Night:
You can expect the partly cloudy skies and gentle winds from the day to continue onto the night. Temperatures will steadily decline into the lower 40s.
A Look Ahead:
Weather patterns for the second (and last!!!) day of the school week at the University of Maryland will continue to be very similar as you can expect partly cloudy skies with highs in the 50s. A cold front associated with an approaching high pressure system will cause temperatures to plummet on Wednesday night.
