As we near the end of March, the College Park area is starting to see springlike weather! Only a few days late, but Spring is Here. Today the high temperature was near 60 degrees, with some afternoon rain showers. These showers will let up tonight and then return to bring us a soggy Friday as well. Hopefully these showers will help the flowers bloom!
Through Tonight:
It will continue to rain lightly until early tomorrow morning, with temperatures dropping down into the upper 40s. The rain will be accompanied by some light fog developing overnight, as well as a calm breeze. The showers may put a damper on evening plans if you aren’t planning on staying in.
Tomorrow (Thursday):
The fog that developed overnight will linger into the morning hours accompanied by overcast skies. In the afternoon, the clouds will clear letting the sun shine through. The showers will mostly stay northwest of central Maryland; therefore there is only a slight chance of light showers. The high temperature for the day will be in the low-to-mid 70s!!!!!!! The chance of rain will increase into the evening with mostly cloudy skies. The low temperature overnight will be in the lower 50s.

A Look Ahead:
The showers will return on Friday with a high temperature in the lower 60s. Over the weekend the sun will return! Saturday skies will be mostly sunny, and some clouds will move in on Sunday leading to partly sunny skies. The weekend will be slightly cooler than the rest of the week with high temperatures in the upper 50s; however, this weather is still very typical spring weather, which will be nice for any outdoor activities you have planned this weekend!
