Evening Update: Weekend to embrace us with another taste of spring

Today was another grey and wet day as temperatures as temperatures were a tad above average for late February.  This weekend will see temperatures rebound, but periods of showers will stick around for this weekend.

 

Tonight: 

Patchy drizzle will persist through the night, and don’t be surprised if some spotty showers visit your neighborhood as well. Patchy fog will begin to develop late this evening. Lows will not fall very much due to the thick blanket of clouds over us. Lows will be in the mid 40s with South winds at 3 to 6 mph.

 

Tomorrow:

Patchy drizzle and fog in the morning with a chance of heavier showers in the afternoon. Temperatures will rise to the low 60s in some places  even with overcast conditions as a warm front races through the area. Calm winds transitioning to an east wind arond 5-7 mph in the afternoon. In the evening, overcast skies will continue with scattered showers and drizzle throughout the night with patchy fog possible as the sun sets. Lows will continue to be mild as we reach 50 overnight. East wind 6-8 mph.

 

Sunday:

Showers will continue in the morning and start to wane as the afternoon progresses. Overcast skies will dominate, but max temperatures will nudge the low 70s thanks to some warm air from southwest winds around 7-10 mph, gusting up to 20 mph. During the evening, clouds could start to break up, but still a chance for scattered showers. Lows will be in the upper 40s with winds shifting to light north winds.
