Evening Update: Cool and mostly dry through Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is almost here! That means we are that much closer to stuffing our faces with mashed potatoes and turkey, while awkwardly talking about our lives to relatives. However, one thing you won’t have to worry about this year is the weather. We have entered a fairly quiet weather pattern that will bring seasonably cool temperatures and very small chances for rain or snow over the next 5 days.

Through Tonight

You’ll need a hat and gloves if headed out late this evening. Skies will be mostly clear and allow for temperatures to drop into the low 30s. Winds will be out of the southwest at 5-10 mph.

Tomorrow (Tuesday)

Tuesday will be slightly warmer and feature highs in the upper 50s. High pressure will move off the Atlantic Coast and bring southerly winds at 10-15 mph. A few clouds will move across the sky, but expect mostly sunny weather on the last day before Thanksgiving break.

Wednesday and Thanksgiving

If you are staying in Maryland for the holiday you won’t have to worry about weather ruining your plans or making for a muddy family football game. High temperatures will reach the low 50s on Wednesday with mostly sunny skies. A cold front will move through during the morning and could bring a stray shower. Thanksgiving day will be noticeably cooler with highs only reaching the mid-40s.
