Evening Update: Winds Calm Down for Tuesday

Did you hold on to your hats today? Winds were quite gusty after a cold front blew through the region late on Sunday. Luckily, the sunshine came in to save your Monday, heating things up into the mid-50s.

Through Tonight:

Keep a sweatshirt nearby as temperatures dip into the lower 40s in College Park and into the upper 30s in the outer suburbs . Winds will continue to die down through the evening so no need to worry about bundling up too much. The sky will remain clear as a high pressure moves into the in the region.

 

Monday Night Lows

Tuesday (Halloween):

It’s the perfect day to wear your Halloween’s best all around campus. With no chance for rain, Tuesday is set to be a great day. Bring a coat to those early classes, but by the afternoon, the high will reach about 60 degrees with winds reaching 8-10 mph. Planning on heading out for Halloween festivities? Be sure to grab a coat as the lows reach into the upper 30s.
