EVENING UPDATE: Seasonal Temperatures Make a Welcome Return

We’re finally getting another taste of autumn here in College Park. As this morning’s clouds gave way to copious amounts of sunshine, our high temperature climbed only to 63°F. That’s nearly 10°F cooler than what we saw yesterday and much closer to our average for this time of year. Expect this seasonable pattern to stick around for a few more days.

Through Tonight:

Partly cloudy skies should persist overnight, allowing temperatures to dip into the low-40’s in the suburbs. Today’s light breeze will continue out of the north at 5-10 mph.

Tomorrow (Thursday):

Take a jacket with you as you head out tomorrow morning as Thursday will be the coolest day of the week so far. High temperatures will struggle to get out of the 50’s. Expect partly cloudy skies with winds blowing out of the northwest at 5-10mph.
