Warming Trend Continues With Thunderstorms Possible Tonight and Tomorrow

Through Tonight: Conditions will still feel slightly muggy around our area as storms begin to develop to our west.  A couple of models show a line of storms approaching our area between 8-10 PM with heavy rain and lightning, however the storms should not reach severe levels.  Lows will stay on the warm side overnight with temperatures in the mid 60s and dewpoints in the low 60s.

Tomorrow (Friday): Another warm day is in store for our area with even muggier conditions, making it feel like mid-summer rather than late spring.  Highs will reach the low 80s under partly to mostly cloudy skies. As thunderstorm chances increase throughout the day, some will start popping up around our area around 4-5 pm and will progress eastward into the evening.
