The Valentine’s Day sun rose this morning, but was hidden behind some pesky cloud-cover making temperatures struggle to get out of the upper-30s and lower-40s. The slight breeze didn’t help warm the air either. Luckily, around 2 PM, the clouds began to break letting a little bit of sun we’ve all been waiting for shine through and heat things up. Thanks to the break from the overcast sky, today’s high temperature was 46 degrees.
Through Tonight:
Whether you’ve got a date with your significant other or your textbooks this evening, you’ll need to pack a coat as temperatures will be decreasing to 38F for the night time low. Clouds will return as the night goes on as well, so star gazing will be a no-go. The wind will be generally calm between 4 and 7 mph coming from the South-Southwest.
Tomorrow (Wednesday):
Another cloudy morning will give way to decreasing clouds in the afternoon. High temperatures will be in the the mid-to-upper 40s with breezy conditions. Winds with gusts up to 22 mph will make the 40-degree weather feel chillier, so be sure to pack the hat and gloves for your trek to class. A sprinkle or two of rain may fall during the early afternoon hours but not enough to put a damper on your Wednesday.
