The UMD Weather group, run entirely by UMD graduate and undergraduate students in the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Science, will be providing current weather information and forecasts for the College Park, MD area. Pardon the dust while the website is under construction, but check back as we continue to add more content such as:
- Current Conditions and short term forecaststelling you if you’ll need that umbrella for after the big game gets out tonight
- Weekly weather discussions telling you what you need to know about the weather for the upcoming week, including explanations of the science behind why the weather will be that way
- Access to model data for those willing to go more in depth into the the weather!
