This year, wind and precipitation are plentiful. But, the lack of\u00a0cold air\u00a0has\u00a0prevented a repeat of last year&#8217;s event. Rain amounts varying from 1-2 inches have fallen across the region as well as 40 mph winds that have caused some large branches and trees to fall. Light showers or sleet is possible through the night as a strong low pressure system moves along the coast. Some mixing of sleet and snow is possible towards northern Maryland. Rain amounts will total between a tenth and a quarter of an inch overnight. Winds will be out of the north-northeast at 10-15 mph, gusting to 25 mph. Winds will still be noticeable out of the northwest at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
