Today offered some relief from the frigid temperatures this past week. Granted, it was still cold with temperatures hovering around the low 40s. Winds today were blowing from the southwest which seems to be bringing in some warmer air, at least for the next couple days.
While today may have seemed like the beginning of the end to winter, tonight we return to our harsh reality. Tonight will be a mostly clear night with low temperatures dipping into the upper 20s, so make sure to pack on those layers! Winds will be fairly light and blowing from the south.
Tomorrow due to higher dewpoints we can expect to see widespread patchy fog early in the morning, especially in areas where there is still snow on the ground. After the fog clears out the skies will be partly sunny with light winds.
