FORECAST OUTLOOK: SEASONABLY COOL TEMPERATURES AHEAD

Today marks the coolest morning in two and a half weeks. Great weekend for any outdoor activity as fall begins to reveal itself with dry, mild and breezy conditions. A cold front will pass our region tonight followed by a large high pressure system that will develop and remain stagnant into the beginning of next week.

Tonight:

The weak high pressure system currently over our region gives way to the fall weather of cooler temperatures with a light breeze. Tonight, expect mainly sunny conditions with light and variable northwest winds between 5 to 7 mph. Temperatures will remain in the low to mid 50s but, expect more clouds to move into the region with the passing cold front. Definitely, pack a jacket if you plan to attend tonight’s soccer game!

Saturday:

Perfect autumn conditions. Dry, mild and breezy day. High temperatures will be in the upper 60s with a few bursts of north winds between 8 to 18 mph. The coolest day of the weekend–  great for leisure outdoor adventures. Expect occasional wind gusts up to 25 mph. Sunny skies will prevail and give a slight increase to daytime heating but the evening will be cool. Temperatures will be in the upper 40s to low 50s with continued winds between 5 to 15 mph.

Sunday:

High pressure will develop over our area so, expect Sunday to be another dry and mild day. High temperatures will be in the upper 60s with a light east wind between 5 to 7 mph. The evening will have mostly clear skies with temperatures in the low 50s.
